From Leiden, with three homes in the music
NYCO is Nicolas Pouponnot. He grew up on the techno, trance and house his father played at home, and started out producing trap and R&B. That ear for a hook never left.
His roots run through Brazil, France and the Netherlands, and you can hear all three: in Fortaleza, in DALE PAPI, in the 90s melodies under his kicks. A b3b at Verknipt during ADE 2022 broke him through. His trance remix of Like A G6 started as a studio joke, tested on tour in Australia, and was picked up by Universal for an official release in 2026. The sound has since moved from schranz-heavy hard techno to something warmer: bouncy, melodic, built on euphoric nostalgia.
