Techno DJ from the Netherlands: book NYCO
NYCO (Nicolas Pouponnot) is a DJ and producer from Leiden, the Netherlands. He plays bouncy techno and high-energy trance with a background in hard techno and schranz, and has played 130+ shows in four countries, including HÖR Berlin.
What NYCO plays
NYCO’s sound is euphoric nostalgia for the dancefloor: bouncy techno with trance melodies on top. He started in hard techno and schranz, and that drive is still in the kicks, but the sound has become warmer and more melodic.
His latest single, Some Love, came out on 31 July 2026 on Carouse Records and passed 100K streams in just over a week. His trance remix of Like A G6 was released through Cherrytree / Interscope (Universal).
Where he has played
In the Netherlands, NYCO is a resident of the Verknipt family. He played a b3b at Verknipt during ADE 2022, Verknipt Kingsday, Verknipt Festival, and opened Verknipt ArenA in 2025 together with APHØTIC and XRTN. He also played Thuishaven and Pulse by Verknipt.
Abroad he played HÖR Berlin (10 February 2025), Mixmag Berlin (4 July 2026), Miamao in Paris (17 July 2026) and a tour in Australia. In the past year that adds up to shows in the Netherlands, Germany, France and Australia.
